We all need to hear each others' stories to implement successful strategies for working with the diverse HSTA student population. An excellent text – Preparing Science and Math Teachers for Diverse Classrooms - will be provided to you. You will enjoy the chapter readings as various authors describe your classroom world. By reading and reflecting, we can share successful strategies with each other that reach out, provide support, and increase the rigor of our students' education.

Apply to the WVU Graduate Program: Go to http://www.arc.wvu.edu/admissions/applications.html

and tell Jenny Bardwell who will insure that HSTA pays the graduate admissions fee.

Then enroll for the course through e-mail: jbardwell@hsc.wvu.edu

Full tuition and text will be provided for FREE. Computer and internet access are a must. Please ask your field site if you need support to access the course on the web (remember – free surplus computers are available through HSTA). See Syllabus.
